Youtube is much more than just a platform to watch videos on. It's a platform that is accessed and used by people from 91 different countries from all over the world. Meaning that anyone from anywhere can make a video, and instantly by uploading it to Youtube share it with over a billion people. That my friends, is powerful!

  • Reenact a scene from a favorite movie or tv show and change it up
  • Create your own story and recruit your classmates help you act it out


Our first activity of today will be to brainstorm some ideas of topics and kinds of videos that we think we would like to make this week! On the worksheet in front of you fill in the different boxes with your ideas.

Tip: Don't be picky! At this point in our brainstorming adventure we want to be writing down as much as possible! Let your ideas flow!

Remember, things can always be changed around, so don't worry too much about getting it perfect

Once you have completed this list and checked in with a Tech Em Studios producer, grab a Chromebook and try to login to your Youtube account!


  • Keep thinking over in your head about the video you want to make and how
  • Grab any equipment or props from home that you want to use in your video
  • Set up a Youtube account with your parents or guardian if you want to upload to your own channel
